Hear the stories of the commuters on the Kentucky, the last streetcar of its kind known to exist in the U.S.; climb the Roebling Bridge and pilot a packet boat along the Ohio River; stop in at the drive-in theater and enjoy the show in a 1959 Buick; and, soar through the development of the International Airport.
The Behringer-Crawford Museum is located in the historic 19th century Devou family home, set amongst the rolling hills of Covington, Kentucky’s Devou Park. The park itself provides an historical backdrop to the Northern Kentucky collections of the museum. There are panoramic views of the Ohio River, Cincinnati and Covington, as well as nature trails focusing on Northern Kentucky’s natural heritage. Additionally, the museum is the steward for Civil War sites located in Devou Park, and is included on the Civil War Discovery Trail which links more than 500 sites in 28 states.
The BCM Museum Shop offers a variety of Northern Kentucky pottery and artwork, books on Northern Kentucky history, and keepsakes for the kids.
